System Overview
The Graywater Recycling System GWR 80/300 is engineered for the onsite treatment of a maximum daily flow of 80 gal/d (300\L/day) of light commercial or residential graywater sourced from showers, handwashing sinks, and bathtubs. Utilizing advanced BioMembrane Technology (BMT), the system produces high-quality, non-potable process water. The treated effluent complies with standards for non-potable water systems.
Component Specifications
Graywater Storage & BMT Equalization Unit: Heavy-duty intermediate equalization tank designed for safe containment, thermal stabilization, and hydraulic leveling of incoming graywater surges.
BioMembrane Treatment Module: Energy-efficient, purely mechanical-biological filtration system operating without chemical additives or chlorine disinfection dependencies during the primary treatment phase.
Filtration Tank Assembly: Rotationally molded, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tank housing a submerged, premium polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter integrated with an EPDM fine-bubble tube aerator. Filtration is driven via energy-saving hydrostatic head pressure. Includes a heavy-duty schedule 80 PVC filtrate valve for precise manual flow regulation and a flexible PVC filtrate hose assembly for connection to the treated water storage tank.
Aeration System: Ultra-quiet linear air compressor (Type LA 80), UL/CSA certified, supplied with a heavy-duty PVC aeration hose and a grounded power cable matching standard North American electrical configurations 120v/60 Hz
Mounting Hardware: Heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant wall-mounting bracket kit for the air compressor, including all industrial-grade anchoring hardware.
Process Water Storage Tank: Dedicated non-potable water storage tank engineered for hydraulic balancing between treated water supply and demand fluctuations. Constructed from premium food-grade polyethylene complying with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and NSF/ANSI Standard 61 material safety protocols. Equipped with a 11/2 inch\ NPT 38\ mm PVC drain and isolation valve.
Automation & Cycle Control: Basetech industrial-grade digital 24-hour/7-day programmable timer switch for automated cycle control of the LA 80 aeration compressor. The controller supports up to 20 distinct ON/OFF switching programs with a minimum switching resolution of 1 minute.
Recommended Operational Parameters
Aerator Pump Duty Cycle: 10 minutes ON / 50 minutes OFF (intermittent aeration configuration for optimized biomass maintenance and low energy consumption).
